- Established in 1989, Sun-Shine Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd is one of the pioneers in the industry, specialising in window films and blinds. Founded by Andy Chong and Linda Chow, Sun-Shine has come a long way from being a small company with only two employees to becoming one of the biggest suppliers in Malaysia with impressive portfolios built over the years.
First distributor in Malaysia to introduce the newly invented SMART Film & SMART Glass, the latest innovative technology window glass product that will transform the residential and office buildings sector in Malaysia.
Continued innovating and officially launched the first UV400 window film series range that provides 100% UV radiation protection. Participated in SEMA 2016 for the international launch of UV400 in Las Vegas.
Supplied window films to more than 600 automotive dealer in both East and West Malaysia.
Acquired a new 8,000 sqft office building in Selangor.
Awarded the SME Recognition Award.
Became the one and only sole distributor for SUNGARD in Malaysia.
Awarded IWFA Award (International Window Film Association) and acquired a new 4,000 sqft office building in Selangor.
Pitched and won Aloft at KL Sentral and CIMB Building in KL.
Acquired a new 2,500 sqft factory and started manufacturing window blinds.
Became the first and sole distributor of 3M window film products in Malaysia.
Worked with government and bank sectors such as The Security Commission Hong Leong Bank.
Won the Quill 7 at KL Sentral and Double Tree Hilton projects. Started building a bigger team to help support the growth of the company.
Accomplished other big projects such as Surian Tower in Kota Damansara, Dialog Building at The Curve, Integra Building at Cyberjaya and KPMG Building at Bandar Utama.
Pitched and won the biggest project at that time. Supplied and installed window blinds for Faber Tower and Standard Chartered Bank Building.
The year where it all started. Sun-Shine was established from a small office of only 100sqft in Kuala Lumpur.
Founders Mr. Andy Chong and Mrs. Linda Chow had a vision. They wanted to start a company where they can provide installation services for window films and blinds at an affordable cost, given how Malaysia was lacking such services.
